Estudantina Universitária de Coimbra
is a musical group from the city of Coimbra, born in 1984. From early on they wanted
to record
their musical work having original albums since the 80s, which served
as inspiration for other groups
of the same genre that were emerging.

Unable to reproduce the cover
of their second album Canto da Noite
from 1992, and looking for a modern
and current approach
that honoured
the first version, they launched
the challenge of developing a new design.

Based on the humorous aesthetic
of the original cover, the new design
is influenced by Matt Groening's aesthetic
in the illustrations,
and portrays the concept of the album: at night, singing through the streets of Coimbra, Estudantina brings joy to everyone
in the form of songs, leaving a trail of love, laughter and saudade.
